Sorry, I should qualify that. What you should have done is accept the 1 month extension and demanded the agent add a 5 day notice period. You still work and earn and you have no barrier to taking another gig should one arise.

Yep. Tried that. Knocked back. In effect, they wanted to foist a one month contract on me with 4 weeks notice from my end. I did point out that it was pretty silly!!!

Looks like its all been sorted now anyway.
