JT was cleared of being a racist by a real court. Frankie Boyle has demonstrated that even making racist jokes does NOT make you a racist.

See the JT thingy, I never followed the story closely, now, I have read football forums where all claim he was guilty and other football forums where all claim he was not guilty.
When I have seen the tape it has allways been blurred and I understand his claim that he admits saying the words but what he was saying was "I never called you a..."
What is the general thoughs on his lack of conviction? SHould he have been done?Comment

I think even if he DID say "you f-ing n*****" that's not racist. In the heat of anger one often chooses words based on how the recipient will respond, rather than what you think. Nevertheless he's been fined half a million quid for it in total. Whole countries whose fans chanted racist remarks at opposition black players through the game only got 30 or 40 grand fines, like Spain, Russia and Serbia (first time).Comment
