Who is going to fund the dog tulip bins?

    Let's say d000gh for a laugh.

His name sounds like d000ghtulip after all.

There are economic externalities implicit in dog ownership. Will you force all land tax payers to pay for this, regardless of their dog ownership status or will you ensure economic justice via a dog licence?

So you have no idea about externalities.

Next: what will be the impact on the national economy of lost productivity due to the scrapping of alcohol and tobacco duties?

Too late. You've flunked externalities. Alcohol and tobacco duties now please.

It's cute that Robby is having a go at me when he knows he's on my ignore list.

It's a new low when you're trolling someone who won't even see what you write, and you know this, and still write it.

No doubt he'll reply to this, he has a compulsion to respond.

Should be a productivity increase here. People will have more money to spend on the things they want and not what the government thinks they want - and we all know that the gov spends money on tulipe.

The unproductive alchies will die and leave only efficient sensible people.

You're a simple man so let's break it down for you. Alcohol first.

Where is your health economics analysis? How much more alcohol will be consumed and by whom? What wil be the increases in alcoholism and binge drinking rates? What will be the impact of those on crime and disorder and lost working days? What will be the costs associated with those in terms of state spending and decreased productivity? What will be the impact on safeguarding children? What costs will arise from that in terms of state spending for child protection? What will the inter-generational costs be of lost productivity due to any resulting child neglect and abuse? Where is your evidence base for your position?
