According to the Telegraph:
Has to be someone on Eastenders then. My first thoughts were Mike Reid, but he's dead. This is someone still alive. It is understood the man, who has not been named, was a high-profile figure and appeared on a popular soap opera.
Leslie Grantham. ISTR he's got quite a shady past anyhow - didn't he get done for murder or manslaughter ? Certainly has a penchant for knocking one out on his webcam.Comment

there was an old joke in the late 80's (i think) when deirdre off corrie was married to Ken and Mike Baldwin was getting into her.
There was a knock on the door, ken barlow answers it. Mike Baldwin is there, 'look ken. there is no future for you and deirdre, we love each other, dont stand in the way'
ken says 'fook off , next time you come round here i'll batter you'
ten minutes later there is a knock on the door
ken says 'right dierdre, thats it. I'll kill the bastid'
opens the door and len fairclough is standing on the doorstep
'er..is Tracey there ?'

I actually heard a rumour last night about someone involved in this that disturbed me a bit because it was someone that I always held in high regard. He died a few years ago so it may not be the same person being discussed here but I'll keep his name quiet in the hope that it's a load of nonsense.Comment
