Yeah, but its funny because its so true to what can happen !
Not always easy to negotiate the safe path in this regard, especially with people at work but not in your dept.
ONLY benefit of support jobs I used to do in previous life was easy access to everyone in the building, sooner or later they would call or you would be in their general area and could have a chat with them without it being a big deal.
Best of all though is of course a general social situation, xmas bash etc which can have it's own problems.
Scored a few hits but also crashed and burned a few times too !
Of Course, women seem to have their own ways for finding out if you are available and/or interested, some more subtle than others !

I guess an interesting question is:

has anybody ever had any success at the office? Unless your working in a call centre where it's all about the socialising, I'd find it very difficult to get anywhere with that kind of stuff....
