        Another possible (but much less likely) explanation is that they're content for someone to work from home and anticipate only two or three hours a day would be needed to keep everything ticking over.

        If that is so then it might suddenly look quite an attractive rate for someone already working from home on something else.

              In Glasgow though, that's why the rate is bad. They eat their children there you know.

                At least it won't be caught under the new public sector rules with a rate like that.

                Worrying that the public sector may want to import a workforce at the expense of an existing domicilied workforce if it is a way to recruit Bob

                      900 pound a week is still a lot of money in the UK. Let's get some perspective
