What is interesting is that the anti Thatcherites cannot make a logical argument to either offer an alternative to what she did or that she was not required. Nearly all the venom is cliched ridden insults. I will argue logically in her defence where she did well and I will criticise her where she was wrong.
When the bile comes from a community of people who are some of the richest people on the planet I will argue that their wealth is attributable to the reforms inspired and led by Thatcher.
If it was cruel to destroy the mining communities as she allegedly did then would someone please argue in favour of supporting them.

I bet you boogie along to '99 Red Ballons' at the staff do though...The trouble is with German music that is heard in English speaking countries, is you only get, you guessed it, the songs with English text which tend to be the crap ones, i.e. the aforementioned Nena (who is a bit of a MILF these days) or Opus or the Scorpions. I'm afraid that there is actually a lot of good music to be heard here but you ain't gonna hear it in the UK. I also take it that you don't like classical music or the fact that it was Germany that gave a lot of British bands their break in the early 60's when British promoters wouldn't?

I remember when they wanted to join the 5 Nations some years back but that got put on the back burner when they were stuffed in a World Cup qualifier by Georgia. There are a lot of rugby clubs here (even female ones) and it's picking up in popularity, VW even used rugby in an advert recently and they show the major tournaments on TV (occasionally.)
