Really painful to even think about - imagine what the little girl went through for 8 hours. I don't think I can imagine a worse kind of trauma.

He said that, rather than remove the device, army experts would "render it safe at source".

Though I do wonder what the guy did to upset someone that much. Generally if you want something from someone its better if they are alive. So its revenge.

I reckon a good look into his background will find some suspects. Assuming he was not into anything illegal. But proving it will be incredibly tough.

The reports I've seen say the little 7 year old girl was shot & beaten.... how awful. If the Dad was the target, to do that to the little girl takes it to another level.

But she wasn't shot in the head like the others - so someone needed to make a point without actually killing the child...
