Hmm, I agree with the sentiment NLUK but I don't see how burning poppies isn't criminal damage and inciting racial hatred either. But now I'm repeating myself like a true raving maniac.

The RBL is a non-denominational organisation open to all so has nothing to do with religion, so cannot be racial. Where does it say the poppies were not his property?

The law may be an ass but its all we got

Anyway, why do extremist muslims always seem to have one finger pointing in the air?

Should someone inform customs and immigration? 'Nothing wrong with muslims, chaps, it's just the ones who point their finger into the sky; they can be a bit awkward'.

Both cases merited a £10 fine, followed by apologies to the 'victims'

The poppy burner would have been flown out to Afghan, where could apologise to a few squaddies then left in a minefield
The ex Squaddie could have apologised to the pigs head

Because Poppies are a symbol for those who died irrespective if they are black, while, brown, yellow or green.

Where does it say criminal damage? The page says

Choudhury, of Hunton Street, was found guilty under Section 5 of the Public Order Act of burning the poppies in a way that was likely to cause "harassment, harm or distress" to those who witnessed it.
