My daughter had similar B.S. at work, at the arse end of retail for sure. There are some very bitter and chippy people working in those environments. Now she's leaving to go to Uni while they all stay there to look forward to the remainder of their careers.

I'd be surprised if there is no CCTV at your lad's place.

But a formal complaint to HR backed up with evidence (e.g. iphone audio recording), or maybe no evidence is necessary, should slow the bitch down, or make her more likely to take extreme revenge which would be yet further evidence against her.

    Best wishes to him.

      Bolshie,

I think this might be contributing to the problem,

'I honestly feel like going down there and giving her a taste of Bolshie's right fist.',

you see, if you solve all of your son's battles then he's not going to learn the skills necessary to get him to the top

      I would forget the Union

treat this as a learning experience for your son, getting through this on his own merit and with mentoring from Dad will make him stronger for the future and give him the foundations of skills to solve future battles

      Milan.

Very poor advice. Join the union. Help your son (but do not go down there; you are cleverer and wiser than she is, mentoring is good).

on top of that, if Dad (wants to help him and) buys him an iPhone or Sumsung S3 then when the silly moo is upto no good he could record voice conversations on his phone, just have it in his pocket or in his hand and use the voice recorder

          there's your evidence

You know I was almost feeling a bit sorry for having had a go at you yesterday.
But then you come out time and time again proving what an incredibly stupid cock you really are.

Getting back on topic, I would always exhaust all legal possibilities before leaving:

            (1) because I don't think anyone should get away with anything
            (2) there may be some sort of financial compensation at the end of it.

              Platypus,

I disagree on joining the Union because, Bolshie Jnr might in the future work for organisations which don't have Union representation and with that in mind he needs to treat this as a mife opportunity to learn the skills of the people trade to get past idiots like this

what doesn't kill him can only make him stronger

Why dont you grow a pair and just pay up under BN66?
Jeez, how long have you been on CUK and you can't tell an obvious joke?

What's BN66 got to do with growing a pair?

Yes, I see what you mean. But: I've seen cases like this (well, 2 cases) close at hand, and my guess is that you wouldn't believe just how nasty some folks can be and how good they are at playing the system. I have seen it. Sometimes you need a bigger bully (the union) to put a stop to things.

If a child is bullied at school (I've seen threads on here about that), no one advises "don't worry it will make you stronger" it's either hit the bully back or go to the head teacher. cf. get the Union involved / complain to HR.

But I respect your POV. I just don't agree with it.
