            Secondary senses of the verb include the legal one, denoting the return of something to its previous owner
            I'm sure I read/saw something a while ago which explained how 90% of English lessons in India use legal English from the 1800's

                    My very first experience of Bobs (actually very capable ones) - way back in 2000 - resulted in some Excel macros which popped up 'Updation complete' when finished. It was still saying that when I left in 2009.
