    Some of the Bobs at my clientco (via video link from Bangalore) pronounce consonants such as "p" and "t" at the end of certain words like a cork popping out of a champagne bottle.

    I guess they don't call these consonants plosives for nothing.

    I'm sure I read/saw something a while ago which explained how 90% of English lessons in India use legal English from the 1800's
