Why?

Those documents show that the US has been acting unethically in their foreign policy. Why shouldn't they be named and shamed just as much as a local oik might be by being pictured on a "pubwatch" poster showing those banned from local pubs for misbehaviour.

Unlike a paedo the US is strong enough to defend itself. However it is right for wordwide public opinion to know what they are really like.
Lets face it, if they had done nothing wrong then they would have had nothing to fear from Julian Assange et al exposing their secrets...
