In an equally messy situation myself, read my post on 'Death March Project'Originally posted by louie View PostCurrent role has to be the dullest job I have every done, mind numbingly boring and tedious. The permies are all one missed Prozac away from slicing their wrists. Still the rate is good. Is everyone else in a similar boat?
This place is making me go crazy. Another couple of months here and
I will defo be in the loony bin. I think I'm half way there now!
Have to stay off the coffee now, cos the mind has started to malfunction when in stock mode.Last edited by insur; 14 August 2012, 14:53.Comment

At the moment I am in a small team with some good guys who are all pretty sharp, there is no politics, technology is not modern but C++ is timeless and I am sticking more years of front and back office trade capture systems on my cv (even if the finance industry stays collapsed I can still sell it as multi threaded, multi user, real time blah blah). Client office is 25 minutes from my house and they are sensible and sane about me sticking to my contract. To cap it off the rate is pretty good.
Am I seriously the only person who likes where they work right now?Comment
