Morrissey berates everyone for not being as miserable as he is.
Arrogant berk."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Good to see reverse political correctness is live and well.
I don't agree with everything he says but I'm glad someone is challenging this new consensus on patriotism that we see with Armed Forces Day etc.
The irony is it's all so un-British.Comment

Says it all, I see he made the sensible choice to come out anti olympics AFTER he has done his two UK dates of his latest tour, lets move on nowMorrissey, who famously draped himself in the Union flag during a 1992 concert in Finsbury Park, has made several bids for attention this year by making public pronouncements which he hoped would prove controversial.Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

I agree that patriotism and nationalism need discussion, but right now, people are enjoying the fun side of Olympic success, so nobody really wants that discussion. Wait until the games have passed and then raise the issue in a more sensible way.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

I am immensely enjoying the Olympics, but there's no reason for anyone to self-censor at the moment.Comment
