If you are looking for a mortgage as a contractor then I can't recommend Martin@AS highly enough!

Within 5 working days he has managed to get me a mortgage offer from Halifax...and he doesn't even charge a brokers fee.

I had spoken with a couple of the other contractor specialist brokers prior to coming across this feedback link and it was immediately clear on chatting with Martin that he is a different class. Clear, concise, transparent, very knowledgeable and friendly to boot!
