Strange some of the most social people I know (mainly female) are diagnosed OCD suffers, they are not in IT.
Some others I suspect of harbouring OCD tendencies are also high achievers socially, maybe (like Spacecadet's missus wishes he would) - they try just that little bit harder to be liked.
I'm pretty geeky but I have never been accused of suffering from OCD.Comment

I am impressed you found a car with MDCCCV on the number plateOriginally posted by EternalOptimist View PostI like to convert number plates into Roman numerals then add them up or make dates out of them, then attach significant historical events to them.
So I start to talk to the missus about the battle of austerlitz and she says, 'where did THAT come from ??'
its hard to explain that its because you are bonkers

Dug all my old listings of computer simulations of power stations and process plant out of the attic the other day but couldn't bring myself to chuck them. With a bit of adaptation I reckon I could do a simulation of CUK, it will be so accurate it will predict when SAS is going to post and what he will say.
PS Looked it up on Wikipedia and saw that "Symptoms of the disorder include excessive washing". I'm ok then!Last edited by xoggoth; 1 August 2012, 15:10.bloggoth
