WHS. Mexican on a bicycle reached to the essence of the subject, projecting it in a simplistic, but instantly recognisable manner. By depicing the mexican astride a bicycle, you embraced the cross cultural encounters of western society on the Mexican people as a balance without giving either culture dominance.

    Harry Potter is just silly.

It's very well balanced. I actually think it might have worked well as a triptych too.

Rubbish. Mexican on a bicycle displays outdated neo-imperialist stereotyping, playing to the fears of suburban audiences of the faceless swarthy skinned immigrant creeping silently across borders as illegal immigrants.

Harry Potter displays a charming stylised representation of the human spirit transcending disability to overcome oppression through the will of the dispossessed outsider.

Thanks. I contemplated a triptych but decided it might be too disturbing for the audience, confronting them with the void in their existence in a quasi-religious fashion with a vague hint at an unholy trinity of emptiness. That, and I knew that if I tried it, what with the 30 second post break, some vandalising **** would post some bollocks in between the panels and ruin it.

I call this piece 'Arctic Polar Bear in Snow Storm'

A powerful representation of the struggle for survival.

I'm calling my entry Once in a lifetime moment but it had a working title of They'll never believe this!

I don't think it's appropriate for this thread (or any other for that matter) to degenerate into a would you/wouldn't you thread about a real forum member.
