Should I get a Porche Boxster?

Since it's ego time, I've also got disposable income that could cover a Boxster, but you'd be burning your money if you bought one IMO.

I depends on what you are going to pay for the car. If its very new then IMO there are some nicer cars out there that don't get the wrong attention... (Im thinking Merc 350 petrol E class coupe) If its old I would look at other more eclectic toys like TVR or a an AC Cobra replica. I have had convertibles for years, and I tried a Boxter S when I wanted to trade in an old SL a few years back.
It really wasn't that nice to drive. Personally I really prefer an SL over Porsches.

No its not a mid-life crisis, its just that I have a Boxster sized amount sitting in one of my accounts now the dust has settled on property purchases.

Seriously, wouldn't the money be better spent on property, like a conservatory or loft conversion.

Beats me why anyone other than a multi-millionaire, for whom it is literally pocket money, would want to blow more than seven grand or so on a car.

There's only so many loft conversions or conservatories one can buy. You only got one life to live, so might as well enjoy it as much as you can.
