People are too hung up about IR35, odds are one away day won't **** you with a HMRC investigation, go for it, have a good day and make sure you get extended by being a team player. Think of it the same as taking a client out to a lap dancing bar before you sign them up, its all about networking, you never know what you might find out in causal conversation.
