    People are too hung up about IR35, odds are one away day won't **** you with a HMRC investigation, go for it, have a good day and make sure you get extended by being a team player. Think of it the same as taking a client out to a lap dancing bar before you sign them up, its all about networking, you never know what you might find out in causal conversation.

      Personally I would try to fit in. There was a time you could be good at your job or popular but now you need both.

      And once they have invited you then anything else looks childish. IMO.

        You lot are in danger of turning into corporate arselickers; you'll be going permie next.

          Cher-ist! Where do we begin.

          IF THEN is VB/VB.NET, != is Java/C#
          GetStuffed would call a subroutine (in VB, you would need to add the parentheses in Java)
          'Yes, I'll be there' is a Java string (an error in VB) without the central apostrophe escaped or concatatanated...

              LoL - yours was bad, but not as bad as Ketchup's correction of it

                and, back on track, just go along and enjoy it, life's too short.

                Don't ask whether it's billable, of course it is. The client has asked you to turn up

                  Oh wait a moment, BP is perm, that explains the @arse licking, one of his objectives.
