I don't in fact care, though I don't have one myself. I'm amazed how touchy some people with tattoos are when you needle them about it, even faintly suggesting that it's a bit silly. A touch of protesting too much... And then you get some ugly mutt with tattoos that would disgrace a nursery school child's scribbling book, banging on about "body art".

Though, admittedly, some tattoos are good enough and original enough to be considered art.
And do you find that people are otherwise completely receptive when you needle them about other things? Because tbh I find that most people get annoyed when others needle them, regardless of what they needle them about, especially if it's something completely random or that the person doing the criticising appears to know nothing about. Try criticising any bloke's car, his job, his >insert nerdy hobby here<, and you'll get exactly the same reaction as you describe. And what about those clowns that go around telling random strangers to "cheer up, it might never happen? ". I'm led to believe most people despise such presumptuous intrusions. Are they all "protesting too much"?, or is it merely an indicator that human nature doesn't appreciate unsought criticism in general do you think?

Have you ever been stopped from working somewhere because of your tattoo? Never happened to me but mine are quite hidden.

It's a personal choice. I think they look appalling on women and childish on men, but appreciate it's a free country.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

I've never been stopped from working because of mine, but I have been in a meeting where some colleague I didn't know very well thought it would be a really good idea to pull up my shirt in front of some male colleagues to get a better look when they saw the edges of it peaking out, and was surprised when I told them to keep their hands to themselves. But then, perhaps I'm being "over-sensitive". Maybe people without tattoos do that to one another all the time?

Maybe it was just shock at a burd from Central Scotland being bothered about having her shirt pulled up in public. What was wrong ? Did he not buy you a diamond white first ?

Not for me. It doesn't particularly bother me when other people have them but I don't fancy some dodgy looking bloke, covered in scribble and pins, taking his inky needle and scribbling all over me.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

              I preferred version 1!

Need to keep that bush trimmed, lady.

Shocking behaviour by your colleague though.
