They didn't say they agreed - they just offered some advice.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostJust because they are the only person who agree's with you does not mean its the best advice!Comment

Why did you let them treat you this way in the first place? I would be a man, put a fun face and honour my contract till the end, business is business. You never know what paths you will cross in the future. IMHOOriginally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostSome of you may have previously read my "Grim Places to Work" and "Nasty Contractors" threads. I have worked 2 perm roles and 4 contract roles prior to this place and have always tried to leave on good terms when either completing a contract or putting my notice in (NLUK customary comment awaited here). I still have contact with people from my previous contracts and have been asked to go back on occasions.
This time, however, I have simply had enough of the people and place I am at and feel like I want to leave on Bad terms for the first time. The way I have been treated over the last 4 months by those who brought me in makes me want to leave on a really bad note and have a right go at them. I have no intention of ever coming back here despite the close proximity to my house and I doubt they will ever ask me to come back given the fact I have stood my ground against their incompetence and finger pointing.
Should I let them know what I think of them on my last day or not?Comment

In short, "not". Read this; it'll be the best fiver you'll ever spend. I read it years ago after hearing how Warren Buffett made it the crux of his dealings with other people in business. It contains all the advice you'll ever need for dealing with people, particularly the difficult ones (who exist everywhere, btw - those you happen to have been dealing with most recently typically aren't special in any way). The Job Centre's full of people that enjoy being 'right' and telling everyone what they think of them more than they enjoy making positive contacts or getting paid. It's up to you whether you want to be one of them, or focus on more enriching (in every respect) pursuits.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostSome of you may have previously read my "Grim Places to Work" and "Nasty Contractors" threads.
