Farewell, Sylvester McMonkey McBean, prince of cats

Our beloved cat who we found as a starvling on the streets of Manchester 12 years ago has finally come to the end of his healthy life. He's not in pain but will rapidly get worse so today will be his last day of wandering round the garden and tomorrow I will have him put to sleep.

May all your furry little friends shine as brightly.

sad to hear, we lost our previous pair about 18 months ago.

Venus (yeah try shouting out in the back garden to get her in). Ex alley cat who terrorised the neighbourhood (in a good way). Female & Bright as a button.

Douglas male & not the sharpest tool.

Constantly beat each other up.

they died within months of each other, one put down the other found dead in the flower bed. Cold hearted me believes they actually missed each other.

do leave a break before replacement.

we now have a similar pair wih a gender reversal.
