I actually really like listening to heavy rain, provided I'm inside. Just as well really, since I live in Scotland.

              It's climate change 'innit?

It's all been predicted by them climate change scientists 'innit?

              http://www.defra.gov.uk/environment/climate/adapting/

Details of how the climate might change and the implications these changes may have are explained elsewhere on this site. In summary, the UK will see hotter and drier summers and warmer and wetter winters.

Preparing for climate change : Directgov - Environment and greener living

On average, the UK faces hotter, drier summers and warmer, wetter winters as a result of climate change. Cooling your home without air conditioning and checking your risk of flooding are just two ways to get ready.
