We seem to be going back 200 years to Jewish/Biblical roots. I researched my family tree back to the late 18'th century and the names popular over 150 years ago in our family were Samuel, Thomas, Elizabeth/Eliza, Mary, George, William, Benjamin, Joseph, and Charles. There's also an Enoch, an Elie, a couple of Silas's. a Seline and a Delphia. Lord knows where they got the name Delphia, given that most of them were illiterate.

There's quite a few Chavvy sounding names in the top 100 list such as Brandon and Tyler. No Tyson and Adolf. Maybe they're just for chavvy dogs. (Doubtless some affronted forum user will take me to task.)

Odd how names that are common in my generation such as Nicholas, Paul and Simon (my middle name) are not even in the top 100, and the most popular names such as David, Michael and Stephen have dropped well down the list.
