MessiRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

In this particular tournament Ibrahimavic was absolutely awesome as well and given the lack of quality around him all the more awesome.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostMessiComment

That has weighed down on him quite a lot I think, you can see that when he plays for England he doesn't have that bogging him down so he plays a lot better.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostIn his dreams! 35 million pound donkey!Comment

Don't agree. He's completely 1 dimensional. Good in the air and that's about it.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostThat has weighed down on him quite a lot I think, you can see that when he plays for England he doesn't have that bogging him down so he plays a lot better.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

In this tournament there haven't been many standout performances apart from Ronaldo.
Ibrahimavic has played well, as has Pirlo. I would even say Gerrard has played well in parts and probably has the most assists in the tournament.
If it wasn't for Messi then Ronaldo would get the player of the year, however hasnt Messi scored 80+ goals this season for club and country ?Comment

That's not true - Liverpool have used him like that but he scored a fair few good goals when he was playing for Newcastle (one of them being against Liverpool)Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostDon't agree. He's completely 1 dimensional. Good in the air and that's about it.Comment

They are still negative connotations whether you can back them up or not (how exactly do you back up being petulant?).Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostPreening, petulant, arrogant. All negative connotations. Unless of course you can back it up. Which he can.
But I never said he wasn't a great player. In fact, it was nice to see him poke Barcelona in the eye this season. It brings people back to earth who keep wetting themselves about the Catalans, how they are the greatest of all time [sic] etc.Comment
