It was a classic moderator infraction followed probably by a swift banning.
And the advertising was priceless.
I wouldn't have put up with rude sniffy coffee-drinkers who weren't prepared to follow the rules - they probably also pointed out that she was inconsistent for not banning the non-English speakers at the next table for not standing up.
And I'll bet her coffee was perfectly acceptable and the grannies were just bitching at the 'injustice' and complaining loudly to anyone who entered the shop..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
