That's it I can't take this ****** weather anymore! How do I get a gig in Ausie?
Apparently the crap weather is due to a jet stream sitting at an abnormally low latitude - normally it would be somewhere north of Scotland but at the moment it's somewhere over the English Channel preventing the warmer air from the continent reaching us.
I read that somewhere yesterday. Can't remember where but it I've been reading the same thing every summer since 2007 but there is never a cogent explanation for why this is happening other than the global warming/el niño/la niña line. It can't be an el niño year every year ffs.
Has anyone come across any articles containing some decent science on the subject?
