I still have my doubts that we will see Champions League football this year. 3rd place will have to qualify if Chelsea beat Bayern Munich, which I think they will. And we've had some pretty tough qualifiers in the past like Inter Milan and Celtic. You don't play those games every day and win.

It wasn't entirely clear to me if he actually hit anyone properly... Tevez went down clutching his face so was obviously not hurt, and when he made a lunge after being carded I couldn't tell if he hit anyone, or made a move and they fell over on purpose.
I was disappointed they stopped Balotelli getting to him, that would have been funny.

Why does the delta matter... just allow only the winners of each league. Except then it would be low on teams so I suggest they include winners of FA/league cup and/or championship, OR invite winners of leagues in far more countries such as Algeria.

I think they still have a pre-qualifying round before the group stage.

Or let the winners of the Uefa cup/ Europa league enter - that way some teams would take it more serious
