What an extraordinarily arrogant and oppressive attitude. The statements are at best vacuous soundbites of the kind uttered by the most ignorant politicians. On the face of it, and to the hard of thinking they are incontrovertible, but as some of the excellent responses have proven; it's never as simple as half a dozen pointless homilies. -

And what is hilarious is that these points have been uttered by that ultimate parasite: an accountant.
What do accountants create to pay off our deficit? Nothing.
The only reason the OP is in business is because government dictates that we need to give accountant leeches a piece of our hard earned wonga.
If the OP followed her own logic, we would keep what we earned, there would be no need for accountants and she would be one of those on the scrapheap she so despises.Hard Brexit now!

I certainly agree all this hatred towards the mega-earners is daft. You can't have the top guys earning that much without a big, big company underneath. Their existance is a sign that things are not totally dead.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostToo much concentration by left and right on their own hates, bankers/CEOs with huge bonuses on the one hand or welfare scroungers on the other.
At the other end I generally agree, but would counter that benefits to people who are quite able of working is a cripplingly large amount of money which could be spent on better things.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Actually they are just statements which you can either agree with or disagree with but why is it necessary to resort to such unpleasant insults? How can making a comment on a public forum be oppressive? Obviously I have misunderstood the concept of freedom of speech.Originally posted by Peoplesoft bloke View PostWhat an extraordinarily arrogant and oppressive attitude. A typically well constructed argument which contributes absolutely nothing to the discussion.Originally posted by sasguru View PostQuite.
