Do you think that incidents like this are likely to make people take a racist attitude? Or become racists?

I can well imagine folks in pubs saying "those effin persons of Pakistani origin should all be shot / sent home" etc etc
rather than "those effin British people from Rochdale should all be shot"

I think it's inevitable that some/many people will call out their ethic origin when discussing this.

I trust that on completion of their sentences they will all be frogmarched to Heathrow and put on a plane back to Pakistan or whatever 3rd world sh!thole they come from.

Do white men consider Asian girls to be immoral? In their minds it was ok as the girls were worthless pieces of infidel meat, interestingly (according to a Pakistani woman on R4 this morning) large parts of their community will still put the blame on the girls.

She also said "Behaving like a white girl" is a common phrase used to criticize an Asian girls behaviour if they do something that is disapproved of.

I assure you if there were black, brown, chinese, african, indian, south american etc girls outside that takeaway then they would have targetted them. It just happens that the drinking/drugs culture those girls are brought up in are an easy target for sex....

According to the Times today, none of them are British born, all came here as adults, one from Afghanistan (illegally).

Ok so what your talking about now has nothing to do with racism. Literally taken you are suggesting they would be scared of their community's reprisal. So they would effectively have chosen any other colour/race to target provided it is not their own - as somebody previously said in a post on here they took to the slogon of "not sh1tting on your own doorstep".

So you answered the question yourself - was this race related? No it was simple opportunism....
