What Scoobos saysOriginally posted by Scoobos View PostNot so sure about that, I think you'll find extreme culture and religious practices in many other countries, say Israel , perhaps even America in some peoples eyes (ever been to deepest darkest NJ?)
Forced Marriage is commonplace in Eastern Europe, with human trafficking of underage girls from Russia to be married off as soon as they turn 16 in western countries..
That said, Afghanistan and perhaps Pakistan have MANY problems all rolled into one... (I've never been to either, and in my opinion , you need to in order to pass your own personal judgement on things)
There are plenty of extreme (or what appear to be extreme to us) practises in many other cultures besides islam, you only have to look closer to home, the catholic church have been accepting extreme behaviour from its priests for a long timeComment

To get back to the OP though
In my opinion the pendulum has swung too far. People should be allowed freedom to speak their mind , and if what they say is offensive to some, they should be attacked for being offensive, not forbidden to say it in the first place.
If what they say is inciteful, there are laws that cover that, but its gone way too far when it is considered tabboo to say 'my house was burgled last night. by a white guy' (insert colour of choice here)

Isn't that just a by-product of the kind of people that tend to train as priests?Originally posted by Support Monkey View PostWhat Scoobos says

When I have travelled in Muslim countries, I have noticed a lot of white, western girls get fondled and hassled an awful lot, and in India, Sri Lanka too. Speak to the locals and it's their belief that white western girls are naughty, sexual active, and like it. They wouldn't necessarily do it to their own kin. Coming here, with a cultural belief in this, will obviously see them target young white girls, especially those failed by social services and, in this case, it would seem the police too. Didn't they ignore the complaint by a 15 yo white girl a few years back.
Trouble is, Western society is more highly sexualised than Islamic ones, most sub continent places. Wandering around pissed off your head dressed as a slut is going to be asking questions the answers of which are never going to be pretty.Comment

Just phoned my bro as looking at the addresses, one of the convicted lives on the same estate. Ironically, my bro was sat outside the convicts house pricing a job next door. No extra police, no nothing.
From what he said, they are expecting the EDL to try and stir it up again (previously did a leaflet drop, but where looking for trouble), but expect that like last time the EDL will get escorted from the estate by a joined up, integrated estate population who stick together. And that is not because of fear etc or that my bro and his family are one of 7-8 white families on the estate, its because they stick together and live together.
Looking at the other addresses, none are in Heywood, all are from the other side of Rochdale (scarily, the house we rent out is central to all the convicted...). The girls were from Heywood. Quite nerving when I have 2 nieces who live round there, youngest is 18, oldest is 21.
I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!Comment

Perfect example of what I am trying to say: the pakistani culture has nothing to do with Islam yet they use Islam as the excuse to force their backwards culture onto others..... whenever somebody goes against their culture they will call it un-islamicOriginally posted by Support Monkey View PostWhat Scoobos says
