At what age do you plan to retire?

Spells out of work have made me reassess all this. You really have to plan your retirement because it is a massive change when you are bouncing around with no work to provide a framework. This is not just economic, but this is a big element - have you all got enough stashed to maintain your lifestyle etc ? I accept old people don't spend much, everything paid off etc.
If you can stay fit, clearly golf is the future....Comment

I'm never going to retire.
May do a couple of days a week on various projects if I can get a decent wedge when we go IPO.Comment

50-60. If I can continue to get decent work I'll be out of IT in three years time. Lots of plans after that so not exactly retirement but I'll only be 53 so I'll have to do something. Might do the odd day's consultancy to keep my hand in but I'm planning to go back into property development on a small scale plus a few other things.....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
