No wonder real tycoons like DimPrawn and sasguru prefer to spend time away from this dull forum full of Tesco voucher abusers...Comment

Or, are you hoping to shift the money owed to a new card when the 3.5% deal runs out? What if that deal is worse than 3.5%, what if the next deal, isn't very good? Say you have to pay 6.5% next year, all gains wiped out. What if there are no good deals as the interest rates have risen?
It's not the pie in the sky you think it is MF, and if you've been doing this for 15 years and only making 1k a year, you are really not that good at it...Comment

I worked with a guy who used to do the credit card transfers through his virgin money account along with the cash back phone deals, this was when there was no balance transfer fee and phone contracts weren't all you can use minutes and texts.
He ran a massive spreadsheet and kept his bills, had reminders for when to apply for the phone cashbacks etc. He got a real buzz out of it all and made a little pocket money out of it as well as saving himself a few £ on phone calls. He did go a bit OTT with free product trials and the like. but this was his hobby, it gave him a kick.
I put it down to being an othrodox jew with little else to spend his time on. personally I paid the £30 a month for the phone and went down the pub with my mates but each to their own, I just CNBA to do this kind of crap for the returns but good on those that convert their Tesco points to triple points before buying nappies - I know I should but I'm a lazy fkr.Comment

You'd haggle over an extra 2% on your daily rate, why not save 2% on your outgoings?
