Do you not wrap up some extra sandwiches in napkins at a free buffet and take them home for the week???

Dried out sandwiches? Napkins? Free buffets?

Are you on the bench or something?

If it's free then, why the hell not?

Our Tesco points are almost paying for the car ferry to Ireland and back. That's the best part of £300 for just flashing a piece of plastic at the till.

          Seems silly not to.

If you can make a few quid from a little legal usury then it would be churlish not to.

passing over your card at checkout, isn't checking balance transfers, setting up isas and making sure you use cashbacks sites, and all sorts, it is completely different.

Just picked up over £1000 worth of telescope for around £500 for Tescos. There's free tulip, and there's making life tough for yourself. MF is using the latter, you are using the former

Tesco vouchers are great. When on vacation last week we got £200 worth of Ask, Chef & Brewer & Pizza Express vouchers for £50 worth of points, which in turn didn't cost anything apart from 'loyalty'.

              Every penny counts.

WTF is so difficult to understand. It's not complex. It's basically sitting in front of the computer for about 10 minutes to do a transfer, then 10 minutes to set up the payments on your bank account and 2 minutes to print out a calendar of when the deal is up.

Granted 3.5% in this case is not great, but in the past the deals have been 1.5% - 2.0%. I have one running at the moment which was 1.98% for two years. In the past 0% dead.

Stoozing take discipline and it takes a bloody good understanding of numbers. An extra £1000 a year for a few hours work. Yes please.

I know all about stoozing, it doesn't take great intellect to understand it, I just don't thnk it worth the hassle, and if you suddenly take the money out of isas, iirc, you have to pay a fee, no? Do I think it worth the pain, pallaver? No, I don't.

You are a true cretin if you think Tesco pays for it - you paid in full and more than they give you back.

Oh I see your point re: the ISAs. All of my ISAs are 3,4 or 5 years. I take the highest rate each April/May. As Minestrone said on another thread these are my pension. They are not to be touched as I do not wish to lose the tax benefits on them.

                      I think it's worth it.
