The java will be done in jenkins but the DB scripts have to be done through the 'release management' process.
I can kind off see the point of what they are trying to achieve, making sure that what goes into prod has been through UAT but the manner in which it is done is bonkers.Comment

Mr Clipster, see if your problems are line and/or exchange related, then changing providers doesn't help. I changed the cafe to Plusnet when I still had it and they still had to wait to get Bt to fix the exchange issue (which BT insisted was a router problem in my house).
One of the perils of living in the sticks I suppose. Anyway, you couldn't watch yer beloved tattie-munchers every week if you lived in hun-land

The problem is being billed for kit I didn't order and the promised rebate for four weeks without phone or broadband hasn't been deducted. No problem watching Celtic games in Germany or anywhere else outside of the UK.Originally posted by TestMangler View PostMr Clipster, see if your problems are line and/or exchange related, then changing providers doesn't help. Finally sorted with BT and got the bill reduced by the correct amount. Only took five hours over two days on the phone, spoke to ten different people mostly in India who when they get hit with a difficult problem or can't be arsed just kill the call thus starting the merry go round again.
Shocking customer service as we all know.
Down the pub again to recover and lower the blood pressure.Comment

I used to have a Swiss gf who was potty about Celtic and we never had a problem with finding a channel to watch Celtic games.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostThe problem is being billed for kit I didn't order and the promised rebate for four weeks without phone or broadband hasn't been deducted. You have my sympathies on the BT front. They were the ones who gave me the final push in deciding to look for work outside the UK.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment
