Dear Stek,
why not change your speedo to show in Kph instead of mph, thereby giving you a much wider margin for error when moving your gaze away from the dashboard?

So to summarise loads of bollux on this thread, Stek is a cretin who can't do something as simple as keep to the limit or at least play the system. I speed all the time when its safe especially on a motorway in good conditions, but I keep to the speed limit in built up areas. The limit is there for a reason.
Hard Brexit now!

It says sweet FA other than making sweeping statements.
Research has consistently shown that speed cameras
have a major impact in reducing casualties. A major two-year DfT study of speed cameras across six areas
found a 35% reduction in people killed and seriously injured at camera sites, compared to long-term trend.
This finding repeats results of previous studies: the West London Speed Camera Demonstration Project
experienced casualty reductions of 55% compared to control sites and 70% compared to the period before
cameras were installed2. Similar findings have emerged from other countries: an evaluation of 28 camera sites
in New South Wales, Australia found a reduction in fatalities from 21 in the three years before camera
installation to 1 in the two years after installation. My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment

We have been through this many times, grammar, spelling and punctuation are different. Stop confusing the three.Comment

And WTF are the findings for the Australian cameras?"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

Just got the NIP, this is madness, I'm scared of even going out in the car to the station now. Some points...
1. All NIPs from mobile cameras...
2. All just over the limit, ie not taking the piss.
3. From 1985 until my first NIP last Sept I never had anything, not even a parking ticket.
I took speed awareness for one, this takes me to six point's now, who knows what else in the post, I could have more to come. I'm not a boy racer, honest!
I'm seriously considering dumping the car and putting all the taxi's/trains/chauffeur even on the Ltd, (I believe you can get driving ban insurance!)!
OK, I sped, I'll take the fine, but the points thing makes things stupid from a work POV, I could end up banned in a day with all these mobile cameras, and then who knows re: getting about the country necessary in this game.
Rant over!
I am a big fan of speed cameras, they only catch people breaking the law, they use minimum resources in the process of issuing and processing the fines, what would the reaction be if someone said we can catch all burgulars through CCTV and issue punitive justice automatically. It will be hailed as the best thing since p0rn and kleenex was invented.
There is a simple solution to those who don't want the points, don't speed or if you do look out of the big yellow speed camera or big white van with blacked out windows.
*PS This might not work if you are an MPOriginally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?
I want my account deleted and all of my information removed, I want to invoke my right to be forgotten.Comment
