I quite agree with you."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George Orwell -
Maybe, but is a GPS just a GPS and the extra money goes on other things, or does spending more improve the accuracy in any way?Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI bet their GPS cost's more than a £100 TomTom thoughOriginally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Vectra and EO - The Home Office stats I quoted were adjusted both for the background trend and regression to the mean (see the report for a discussion). They still show a significant decrease in serious and fatal crashes.

I was thinking that - a £5 quartz watch was more accurate than the Rolex I used to haveOriginally posted by d000hg View PostMaybe, but is a GPS just a GPS and the extra money goes on other things, or does spending more improve the accuracy in any way?Comment

Yes, even for a few pounds more will give improved the accuracy and there are now dual GLONAS-GPS systems. If you pay a lot more the accuracy can get down to five centimetres.Originally posted by d000hg View PostMaybe, but is a GPS just a GPS and the extra money goes on other things, or does spending more improve the accuracy in any way?"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

George Joshua Richard Monbiot ... A first class TWAT
Monbiot believes that drastic action coupled with strong political will is needed to combat global warming...there is an urgent need for a raft of emergency actions he believes will stop climate change, including: setting targets on greenhouse emissions... constructing large offshore wind farms

Ah - here comes the personal abuse and excuses in the absence of a cordial debate of the evidence ....... run out of ideas guys?
All Monbiot did was point out the fact that the Safespeed founder (since deceased) was invited to submit his data for academic scrutiny - and declined. Sorry if he hit a nerve ....Last edited by pjclarke; 10 April 2012, 18:06.My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment
