From the recession that is. Might be different this time. We are much more densely populated than ever before and have little in the way of raw materials to bail us out of this one. A lot of people assume it is just a recession like many before, part of a normal boom and bust cycle, but maybe it hasn't even started yet.

Scotch whisky sales are booming so we not completely out of exports. Your post suggests we can no longer postpone the inevitable which if true means we can get the bust out of the way in the near future. People still need to eat, keep warm, chat and get about so equilibrium and boom will surely follow.Comment
