I don't mind him getting 56 days but I do mind that everyone else's sentences for burglary, assault etc where a suspended sentence or fine is dished out are far too short!

The lad was a dick, fair enough. What we need is consistency with regards justice - its a cornerstone of British Society.

I recall an incident late last year when 3 black girls racially, and quite severly attacked a white girl leaving her with real, physicaly injuries. They got let off with a suspended.... despite screaming murderous racial abuse at the innocent girl (along the lines of die you white B*tch, etc).

Are we agreeing that racism in the written word is more harmful than actual racial violence towards an individual?
