    Armed robbery?
A friend did time for armed robbery - 6 years and served 4.

I reckon to get 20 years its either murder or walking along the cracks in the pavement.

I had an old Uni friend who got 11/9/7 to run concurrently. I think he served 6. He held up someone with a gat gun.

Suity, your life is like a tulipe British BBC1 sitcom from the 80's, all laugh track, no actual laughs.

Can't be me. Only time I would visit Luton is for the airport and even then only if I absolutely had to.

As for 20 years in jail the only reason would be multiple murder or arson. Even then I don't think so.

I used to play occassional cricket for a pub team. There was one lad who was an acute crook, I thought thief, but kept away from him other than a post game pint and chat.

I bumped into him last year, when I went back. He was celebrating. When I asked what he was celebrating, a bird come over and gave him a snog and said 'you been waitin for that for 16 years saaaaan' and walzted off drunk. He gave me a sort of embarrassed smile.

Didn't ask, didn't need to. 16 years is big bird, and you need to have done something particularly bad to get given it.

Didn't stay long after that. No matter how tough you think you are, there's always someone with less of a value on life than you have...

Sorry MP I thought I left enough clues.

The gentlemen in question had not been "out" in 20 years. The word "out" here has a double meaning. What I suspect they meant is that they have been inside for 20 years, possibly for murder.

HTH, but any problems, PM me.

Suity, you're so far in the closet you're in Narnia.
