But if we are attacking Muslims its ok dude. After all it's a free country and we are allowed to say what we like - regardless of how many people's lives are badly affected by the constant hate mongering (an excellent example of which is this thread).

It's true that I don't have much positive to say about the moslem religion but I think "attack" is a bit strong.

Of course, there are those who look for racism where none exists so I see why you hold that view.

My mum's Jewish so I'm not going to say anything against the Jews.

So according to Jewish tradition you are a Jew as well - nothing wrong with that but no need to try to hide it...

Against Kosher though.

The difference though is that the Jewish people aren't trying to impose their way of life on everyone like some sections of the Muslim (esp. Pakistani/ Banglafeshi) community are.

You hit the nail on the head dude - you are giving an example of a culture of people who happen to by Muslim. The pakistani/hindu/bengali/arab cultures are ancient and much older than the Religion of Islam. just because they have kept these traditions and neglected their religion (take forced marriage for example) is not a religion's fault. It's like me blaming Christianity for some guy in America going Postal.

And there's less than 1 million Jews whereas even Conservative estimates of the ever burgeoning Muslim population are around 3-4 million.

Jews also contribute disproportionately to our shared heritage - think of the greats in the fields of entertainment, politics and business - you'd be surprised at how many are Jewish.

Perhaps it's the fact they are in those positions which gives them such recognition?

Don't see any positives like this from the moslem community. I acknowledge that they once did - ( the Alhambra
for instance) but the mad Mullahs of S.Asia seem to have driven the religion back to the dark ages.

Ah yes the only thing the "moslems" did in history was build the Alhambra.
