Link? Or do you believe everything you read in the Guardian?
No. But had I wished to, at least I would possess a brain to get washed.Originally posted by Zoiderman View PostYou really did get brainwashed as a squaddie didn't you.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment

WTF were those "engineers" doing in a hellhole like Nigeria ?
In this instance I agree with Churchill, the main mission of the special forces was to go in and capture those terrorists and possibly get rid of them. They were not in to rescue some engineer that thought it was easy money to go and work in a country like Nigeria where they kill humans like chickens.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

War was declared on Germany because we did not wish to have the germans overrun our country. One example of the type of society we would have lived under had the Germans conquered the UK would have been one awash with concentration camps.Originally posted by Zoiderman View PostAh, ok, well now we've established that we do actually kill a lot of friendly folk, which you seemed to dismiss earlier, you'll now be able, possibly, to read my objections a little more objectively, no?
I think, for balance, if we are going to say 1 soldier died this morning raiding an alleged training camp, that we should also see, and 230 were killed when a missile attack missed its intended target and hit a village.
Do you see now why I don't get the concentration on the deaths of squaddies? Ordinary poor folk going about their daily lives and Boom, Dad, mum, kids, all wiped out of existence.
BTW, I'd check as to why we declared war on Germany, for it wasn't for the concentration camps....
Again your way of looking at war is of one between two sides each with equal moral justification. The morality therefore being judged by the side that kills the most people. Is that it?Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

You are properly right and I'm sure you have lots more experience regarding to oil industry than I do, so I stand for correction and please advise where to find those entry level jobs? (but at the same time, from your tone and replies, I got a feeling you are at the top of the layer cake and forgot what the bottom guys looks like?)Originally posted by eek View PostI must mix in different cycles. You don't understand logic do you? You see, we all have a brain, it would be difficult for you to lick windows if you didn't, but it is our capacity to build on, from what is in there from the get go that differentiates us, and we all know what I think of your diminished capacity.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostLink? Not too sure where you get the Guardian from SB, unless, oh, that's right, it's a bit left of centre, whereas your Beano isn't...
Glad we've sorted that out.
Those stats are actually from The UN mission monitoring the war in Afghanistan. But hey, what do they know.
Direct deaths - 9000, indirect deaths - 20000 All attributed to our boys in camo. Makes you proud hey SB? Now, let me know about that brain again?Comment

I am looking at war as evil, that it kills innocents as well as those paid for it. I think balance should be attributed in how many people die, not just how many of 'our boys'.
So, about WW2, fancy another stab?Comment
