Dire Straits - Love Over Gold - was the first music I bought, but it was the album on cassette. The first record I bought was the Genesis Foxtrot album. £3 from a second hand record shop in Aldershot around 1986.

My first record was Sparky's Magic Piano, an EP, which I won in a school raffle.

My first single purchase was Cum on Feel the Noize by Slade and first LP was Old, New, Borrowed and Blue, also by Slade.
