If you are hoarding a load of local content from years ago, you are not a target user for iPad... the modern user buys digital content online or consumes streaming content, which IS all compatible.
The regular user can't even GET their old OGGs onto their tablet in the first place. Again - you're clearly not a typical user so you should pick something more specialised... assuming everyone else has the same practices as a middle aged IT geek is a dangerous move to make.

Android will become the most popular tablet OS then iOS, windows will be a distant 3rd as they are far too late to the party.
Add a keyboard, mouse and monitor and they'd be a lot more usefull

I can definitely see the windows ones catching on if they integrate well into existing setups e.g. supporting AD, windows file servers, exchange and so on. It'll be another thing that corporate folk have, just like they all have laptops, docking stations, monitors and so on now.
Never saw a tablet once in any office except for apple mongs bringing in their precious toys.

Very true. The tablet + keyboard concept will definitely catch on once it can be docked with a full size screen as well. I'm waiting for an A4 tablet myself.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Which just goes to show, you're not living in the same world as most of the rest of us. Stop extrapolating your view of the world to everyone else, it is very narrow minded and leads to looking like a div.

What world is that, being an apple employee?, that will be the the only world where people use tablets rather than laptops or desktops in the office.

Oracle have a whole range of things for the iPad, but as far as I am aware, nothing for Android.

Not that Oracle are known for always getting the software platform right, of course.

Possibly / probably - there are already some instructions on getting the Fire to work in the UK. I'm not sure about something that small, though.

I really can't justify what I would do with a tablet that I wouldn't do with a laptop - by the time I can, the Fire should be available in the UK
