Good luck upgrading your 3 month old Android phone to Ice Cream Sandwich any time soon. Now excuse me while I upgrade my 3 year old iPhone to the latest version of iOS, released last night

Haven't tried the three month old phone, but last year's HTC Desire HD runs ICS and has done for a while. No luck needed, though, but thanks anyway.

Nothing, but it's such a simple thing to do there really isn't any point not doing so.

Nothing, but it's such a simple thing to do there really isn't any point not doing so.

The latest iOS update for my 3rd gen iPod Touch is slow coming if it's coming at all. I was checking if an update was available to run the U Tunes app someone mentioned here, no joy.

Apple takes 75% of the profit in the mobile phone market from 9% of unit sales.

One thing that smacks me about die hard apple fans is how they seem to revel in how much money apple makes from them.
They almost seem to scream "PLEASE CHARGE US MORE!!!!"

One thing that surprises me is that people still think Apple overcharges. That may have been true in the 1990s, but it hasn't been for donkeys years.

Look at the Galaxy Tab, which is the nearest thing in spec to previous versions of the iPad: the price is almost identical for an equivalent machine. Yet the iPad is still better, not necessarily in terms of hardware, but indubutably in terms of software and usability.
