Yes, we all saw you crash landing the other night. Never mind all that horseshit about a 'meteor'.

I bet that bent the bodywork a bit. How long will it take your minions to fix?

I'd chuck out the current crop of Tory bedwetters and get Blair out of retirement. Naked capitalism got the world into this mess so whoever thinks it's going to get us out of it needs their heads examined. Properly managed social programmes of third way thinking is what is required. Osborne taking Daddy's Range Rover out instead of the Bentley isn't going to fix it for us.

So where exactly has an "alternative" to naked capitalism worked. We do not have naked capitalism here anyway.
Compared to any of your communist regimes the system works pretty well.

I will also add Alf that you are the epitome of naked capitalism. Assuming you are a contractor you sell your skills to whoever gives you the closest to whatever it is you want. Contracting is the antithesis of a "social programme"

          WHS

Naked capatalism would not have bailed out the banks. I would like to think that the bank bailout money would instead be spent bailing out the individuals (not businesses) who have suffered as a result of the banks failing.

Don't worry about him. His own party will feed him to Gromit as soon as they think they have a shot at getting back into the trough... Theres a knife sat waiting for Ed the shred to use as we speak...

Quite. instead of giving the banks money to "invest" the government should have handed out cash payments to everyone and encouraged them to spend it on going out and buying cars. such a move would have stimulated the economy far better than the banks could have done.

                Oh dear.

Blair was just a PR man.

"Properly managed social programmes" don't take into account that we have millions of selfish lazy "citizens" who couldn't give a toss.

The nation can be grateful that you won't be in charge of policy change.

I think the Russian "5 year plan" was a "properly managed social programme" For social programmes to be "properly managed" they need tanks and police to stand over them

This would be far worse than New Labour.

Can you imagine Ed Milliband being in charge of the country, meeting with key figures like Putin, POTUS. What a ******* embarrassment.

It's not just that thought, it would be confirmation that the population of this country are all a bunch of left-wing socialist idiots.

No, it would be confirmation that the population is by and large lazy and without aspiration, preferring to do nothing whatsoever and be kept in comfort. For many this would provide a better standard of living than minimum wage drudge work, so who can blame them?

(I don't think that many know what left wing socialism is)
