    WHS

The only reason wage inflation did not kick in yet is because of high unemployment and people afraid to lose their jobs. Oil is going up higher and higher and once war with Iran starts oil might reach $200...

It's the 1970's all over again.

I just need to dust off my Space Hopper and Raleigh Chopper and the picture is complete.

Er, no. That's not what I asked.

I sometimes wonder whether people on here understand economics at all...

Of course they will lose, so will the Labour party. The political future of this country will be similar to the one of Germany: I see a Große Koalition with Labour, Tories and maybe UKIP.
<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!

I'm afraid you are completely and utterly wrong.

If you don't vote for one of the main three parties, you're an idiot as you have thrown your vote away.

Your premise is cute and bears relevance if we lived in a democratic nation under AV or PR, but we don't, we live under FPTP and because of the way the system is engineered, if you don't vote for one of the three main parties in a general election, your vote is thrown away.

Also, depending on where you live, several adult members in the same household must vote for the same candidate for the power of a single vote. The system is skewed and many realise this, hence why they vote for the larger parties.

You don't understand the voting system in this country then. Those that do not understand their vote, shouldn't vote in the first place.

It is idiots voting that screwed us on AV ...

If you don't already have the motivation under over a decade of new labour to leave the country, you never will.

The country can't get much worse.

instead of sneering at the coalition let us hear some words of wisdom on how things should be done differently. And whilst we are doing this please make sure that the figures add up.

I will start - limit ICTs to 2

WZGS I think things could get a lot worse if Labour were in charge, they claim to be the party for the working class yet really they're the party for the spongers in society.

                    Even SASGuru gets a mention

                    Conservatives can often sound tedious going on about “family values”, especially in England, where many people can’t stand their families and where MPs who raise the subject invariably turn out to have a half-dozen mistresses and a gimp;
