My father fought in WW2 and Korea, and the Suez, and he too has some stories to tell. My oldest brother too, tells stories of the first dip into the gulf, which scarred him, to this day he gets a bit insular when asked about it, nor one of my other brothers who did 3 tours in Ireland and the Falklands. One of the many reasons that I consider it a vocation of the desperate,a nd desperately short of intelligence
